Absa hosts national customer expo

Business leaders locally and internationally find themselves in a changing business environment where normal business practices have come under scrutiny and new ways of doing business are constantly being explored.
For this reason, banking group Absa is hosting a National Customer Expo that aims to provide a platform for business leaders to engage not only with one another, but also with Absa Corporate and Business Bank industry experts to seek solutions to challenges.
This event sees more than a thousand of some of the largest corporates in South Africa gather in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town to network with industry leaders, peers and their bankers.
"The intention is to not only share our experience and resources with business leaders, but also to encourage discourse around the complex environment within which we all operate today," says Maria Ramos, Absa group chief executive of Absa.
"The role of financial institutions has changed dramatically into solutions based collaboration. Such collaboration forms the foundation for the rationale behind the Absa National Customer Expo," she says.
The Absa National Customer Expo is taking place at the Emperors Palace Conference Centre today with live broadcasts available at venues in Durban and Cape Town as well as at Absa Business Centres across the country.
The programme includes an expert panel discussing business sustainability, risk management, macro economic trends, investment in Africa and environmental sustainability.
The Expo further involves an exhibition where Absa sector specialists are available to assist customers with finding the best solutions for their specific financial needs. - I-Net Bridge
